I performed internet-programming services as a work-study student for the Regional High Tech Center division of the college. The first year of work-study, I did a desktop application programming project with a partner. We worked to create a program to compare Microsoft Word documents from students to the instructor's solution documents. During my second year of work-study, I redesigned the existing website for the Regional High Tech Center with a partner incorporating Flash elements, XHTML, PHP, and JavaScript. This site has been implemented and is now used as the new website for the Regional High Tech Center.

I started out as a sales associate and became a key holder within about six months. I learned about various electronic equipment including computers through special company certifications. The last year that I worked for this company, I became a manager trainee, which gave me the experience of running a business including scheduling, records, inventory, and responsibility for the daily receipts and deposits. I left shortly after I had my first son to be a stay at home mom. When I left, I was very close to getting my own store. I have spent the last eleven years taking care of my family. Now I am ready to pursue a new career.
