Normal Flow of Events: 1.
The order
information is verified. 2.
The quantity of parts for release shipment are verified. 3.
If the shipment
is incorrect, then shipping clerk must resolve issue before parts can be
shipped. 4.
If the shipment
is correct, obtaib packing list information (order information, shipping
address, shop order number, customer purchase order number, part number, ship
date, weight, release ID, and quantity to be shipped). 5.
The shipping
method is determined. 6.
The shipping
charges are determined and added to packing slip. 7.
The packing
list is included in the shipment of the order. 8.
A copy of the
packing slip is sent to the office for invoicing purposes. |
